According to Chevrolet, the new model will be available in several iterations for both the Sonic Hatchback and Sedan. The latter comes in three trims: LS, LT, and Premier trims while the former comes in only the RS trim level.

Yet, the Sonic isn’t the only vehicle that has undergone a radical surgery in its class. For superior fuel economy, acceleration, and enjoyable day-to-day usability, we highly recommend the 2017 Ford Fiesta, and for better interior materials, and smoother ride quality, we find the Kia Rio to be a stylish alternative. Others solid picks in this class include the 2017 Hyundai Accent, and the Honda Fit hatchback.
