The 2017 Toyota Tacoma is a midsize pickup that boasts of a ‘do it all capability’. Some of the reasons that uphold the tag include an impressive resale value paralleled to none other, super performance and power, an attractive interior, a high towing capacity, and easy to use controls. Speculation is rife the Toyota Tacoma 2017 release date is set for this fall as a 2017 year model.
The Tacoma has been a popular alternative for shoppers who feel the regular full-size trucks are a tad bit too expensive or massive behind the wheel. The new Tacoma for 2017 has slightly been redesigned with few changes made on the interior materials and technologies, and on the exterior but remains a Tacoma to the core.
The 2017 Toyota Tacoma interior has seen incremental changes that upgrade the quality of the materials. What however doesn’t change is the overall layout of the center console. The seats are comfortable and supportive and you’ll certainly enjoy the ride quality even for long distances. Aside from the burnished appeal, the 2017 Tacoma comes with a familiar powertrain that offers the same power as the model it is replacing.
To wit, it comes with a standard 2.7L four-cylinder engine rated at 159 hp and 180 lbs. ft. of torque. There’s also the V6 with a displacement of 3.5L and offers an output of around 278 horsepower and 265 pounds-feet of torque.
Sum up all the features and you quickly come to terms that very few vehicles in its class can measure up. Such vehicles include the 2017 GMC Canyon, and the Chevrolet Colorado. The Nissan Frontier is yet another rival.

2017 Toyota Tacoma Release Date & Price
Toyota hasn’t offered any leads concerning its release date and price yet. However, my crystal ball seems to suggest that the price for the Tacoma Access Cab and the Tacoma Double Cab should be expected to start from $23,660 and $24,490 respectively.
