New 2017 BMW X2 Release Date and Info

2017 BMW X2 News – Since 2011, rumors have been stirring about the possibility of the German marque building the X2 crossover. These reports however didn’t yield any fruits whatsoever until somewhere in 2015 when the real metal was seen but as a heavily camouflaged prototype. Now, recent reports allege the new model is headed for dealerships this year. The BMW X2 release date should possibly be expected sometime later this year as a 2017 year model.

Naturally, vehicles such as the X1 and the X2 by design are poised to compete against the who-is-who in the segment including the Land Rover Range Rover Evoque courtesy of their sleeker, coupe-like body style. Also hot on its heels will be BMW’s own X-badged SUVs. Essentially, the X2 will slot in between the BMW X4 and the BMW X6.

And just like its X1 sibling, we expect the newest BMW X2 2017 to come riding on the UKL platform found on the BMW 2 Series and the Mini Cooper. Therefore, we should expect a similar powertrain to that of the BMW X1. All indications are that the new model will most probably debut during the upcoming Geneva Motor Show.

2017 BMW X2 Exterior & Spy Pictures

Although the new 2017 BMW X2 was heavily camouflaged, its exterior design mystery is almost coming to an end. Just like the X3 and the X5, the X4 and the X6, the newest X2 will also have similar exterior styling details juts like the X1. Specifically, the BMW X2 will come with a slightly revised rear fascia, a slopping roofline, and an identical front bumper as the X1.

2017 BMW X2 grille and headlights

The wheelbase seems to be about the same. The design language for the X2 might be different from that of the X1 because it is based on the second-generation of the X1.exterior styling cues appear to be borrowed from its bigger siblings – X3 and X5. The headlights appear sleeker, larger air intakes, and a twin-kidney- shaped grille.

2017 BMW X2 spy shots

Further aback, there are some few hints despite being camouflaged to the teeth. The rear windscreen and the tailgate appear shorter, the bumper different, and the taillights chiseled.

2017 BMW X2 Interior

The interior profile is without a doubt similar to that of the X1 in almost all aspects save for the nitty-gritties such as the infotainment system, seat upholstery, and accessories. Those in the know say the new model comes with a newly redesigned dashboard, refined A/C vents, a “floating” infotainment system, and a smorgasbord of new features.

New 2017 BMW X3 – Release Date and Review

With a wide-ranging talents and broad selection of engines, the new 2017 BMW X3 is an excellent choice for a luxury crossover SUV. However, its starting price point is a concern for would-be buyers in the segment, as rivals are competitively priced. The BMW X3 USA release date should be expected sometime in the first half of 2017.

Appealing features available for the BMW X3 2017 include top-notch crash test scores, abundant cargo and passenger space, a choice of three fuel-thrifty and capable engines, and high quality cabin. Changes for the new model are subtle but are a welcome, nonetheless.

2017 BMW X3 rear view, taillights and alloy wheels

There is no doubt that the BMW X3 is the leading light in its class courtesy of the many talents and capabilities it boasts of ranging from capable engines to luxury and comfort details on its cabin. Now in its seventh year of production, the BMW 3 Series keeps its head raised high even despite rivals being competitively priced below it.

2017 BMW X3 front view, badges and alloy wheels

In fact, it is almost faultless, and you’d have to go to great lengths to find any if there’s. The only foible that seems to be the only downside to owning the X3 seems to be its heft price tag. This flawless vehicle makes no apologies in demanding a whopping price of around $38,95 for the X3 SUV, and $42,450 for the 2017 BMW X3 Diesel.

2017 BMW X3 spy shots, side view

Although no significant changes are conspicuously present on the BMW X3, it has received some noteworthy add-ons and improvements nonetheless. The 2017 BMW X3 interior is perhaps the only area that has received significant refreshments meant to burnish its appeal. Its interior technologies and features are crisp, premium and cater for individual tastes and preferences and offer serious reasons for its rivals to go hang before it debuts.

2017 BMW Z4 convertible, grille

The upscale Z4 continues to set the pace in the compact convertible segment with its appealing and compelling features more so for those people who don’t mind getting their hair fused by the wind occasionally. It is offered with three trim models catered for different tastes and preferences.

2017 BMW Z4 white color, front view

The base model is the sDrive28i model that gets its motivation from a turbocharged four-cylinder engine capable of cranking out a decent 240 horsepower. But for those of us who appreciate a little dose of energy, BMW has offered both the sDrive35is and the sDrive35i models that churn out 335 and 300 horsepower respectively.

2017 BMW Z4 rear view, taillights and tailpipe

Foibles do exist, though. The BMW Z4 price is rather substantial relative to the segment average. The drive quality isn’t as engaging as that of its Porsche rival, and the four-cylinder’s clattery idle. As such, we recommend you check out what the segment offers first before deciding.

If the 2017 Audi A3 spy photos are anything to go by, lots of interior and exterior changes should be expected. We can gather that there will be some exterior tweaks and addition interior technologies on the A3. The Audi A3 interior is seemingly updated and provides additional driver aids than in the previous model. The A3 release date should be expected sometime before the fall of 2017.

The BMW 2 Series color palette is also set to get some mild changes as sources privy of its development say the new coupe will feature two new colors.

‘So far so good.’ That’s what BMW has to say about the M3 which is now marking three years of production. Ever since the model debuted into the segment, there’s no better word than to say the M3 run in the market so far has been eventful. Just like the M4, it chats its own evolutionary path. New 2017 BMW M2 – Release Date and Review

Parking an impressive amount of performance and driving spirit, the new 2017 BMW M2 is a worthy and capable modern-day substitute for the old M3 Coupe. Highlights for the new vehicle include an affordable price tag, capable handling and steering, muscular acceleration, and a tenacious handling. The BMW M2 release date should be expected sometime in the first half of 2017 for the USA market.

2017 BMW M2 side angle, blue color, alloy wheels

Five years ago, fewer than 1,000 examples of the Luxury 1 Series sport coupe were imported to the U.S from the BMW’s M Division. This was because demand far outstripped supply at the time. Three years later in 2014, the I Series nameplate was changed to 2 Series. Fast forward to 2017 and we have the BMW 2 Series. The only difference that differentiates the 2 Series from the M2 is the latter’s nifty details. Now BMW says it is building as much as it depending on the available demand.

2017 BMW M2 exterior, rear view, badges and tailpipe

The BMW 2 is a proper “M” car that is substantive on its own and should be confused with the 2 Series model’s high performance M235i coupe. Some of the 2017 BMW M2 changes include an improvement in the power output, slightly increased dimensions, and a host of nitty-gritties.

2017 BMW M2 spy shots, front view

Its driving demeanor is appealing to say the least.  It is responsive and does so without being overly sensitive, even novice performance car drivers will find it rather forgiving and fun to drive. The experienced racers, on the other end, will most likely appreciate the M2‘s ambition of one day becoming a dedicated track vehicle. Tack on a relatively bargain price and you’ve got yourself a dream car.

2017 BMW M2 side view, exterior, alloy wheels

The BMW M2 interior, as before, is impressive thanks to the plethora of upscale materials and technologies that sport every surface of its cabin. However, it isn’t the only vehicle in this price range that offers these features alone. Others include the Mercedes-Benz AMG CLA45, Ford Shelby GT350, and the BMW 235i.

2017 BMW M2 rear view, taillights and tailpipe

The 2017 Mercedes-Benz CLA45 price starts from an MSRP of around $49,500 and this offers you features such as a luxury car status for an affordable price, a fiery performance, and a commendable handling and power output. In terms of power, the Mercedes-Benz CLA45 2017 comes equipped with a more powerful version of the turbocharged 2.0L four-cylinder engine that cranks out an output of around 375 horsepower and 350 pounds-feet of torque.

2017 BMW M2 front angle, headlights and grille

Some of the highlights that define the newest BMW i8 include a futuristic design, an exception al performance, and great fuel economy savings. Its release date should be expected sometime in the first quarter of 2017, if recent media reports are anything to go by.

2017 BMW i8 exterior, side view, blue color, alloy wheels

The German marque knows a thing or two, no doubt, about combining good looks and stunning performance. Throw in the amazing eco-friendly technology available with the 2017 BMW i8 plug-in hybrid and you have yourself a superb vehicle that not only offers a performance to behold but also greener credentials worth bragging about to your beer buddies.

2017 BMW i8 auto show, rear view, taillights and alloy wheels

Performance wise, the 2017 BMW i8 0-60 mph takes a blistering 4.5 seconds. Additional specs include a combined gasoline and electric range of around 330 miles and 15 miles of electric-only range. This therefore means the i8 is suitable for almost all combinations of driving demands, be it in the city, highway, or cruising for an occasional weekend trip with your girlfriend.

2017 BMW i8 auto show, red color, grille

Its performance is no magic, it comes with a 1.5L turbocharged three-cylinder engine that is hitched to an electric motor and a lithium-ion battery pack to produce a ghostly combined performance rated at a healthy 357 hp and 420 pounds-feet of torque that is consequently channeled to all the wheels via the six-speed automatic transmission system.

There’re other vehicles in its class, in case you’re wondering. The closest you can get to the BMW i8 2017 is the Tesla Model S – purely electric and offers a beastly performance behind the wheel. The other option you can consider is the Porsche Panamera S E-Hybrid. If you’re completely sold out in terms of performance, efficiency, and sexy exterior and interior design, the 2017 BMW i8 is hard to ignore, let alone find an alternative.

2017 BMW X1 Release Date, Review and Specs

The 2017 BMW X1 redesign brings about an even better spirited performance, and a spacious interior accommodation. It may lack athleticism as most of its rivals, but it sure is a strong contender and practical. The BMW X1 release date should be expected sometime in the second quarter of 2017.

2017 bmw x1 rear view, taillights

Moreover, the BMW X1 2017 offers a laudable fuel economy rating, smooth and strong four-cylinder engine, a high-quality interior with improved dimensions, and tons of standard features. If you’ve been shopping for an entry-level BMW crossover, chances are that you’ve probably come across the BMW X1. One striking feature that endears the X1 to most shoppers perhaps is its affordability among a ton of other features.

2017 bmw x1 side angle, alloy wheels

Although the BMW X1 was a great fun to drive vehicle, it played second fiddle to other vehicles in its class in terms of functionality. The 2017 BMW X1, however, is redesigned and offers ample leg- and headroom for the backseat passengers. This alone is enough reason why the X1 deserves a second chance on your shopping list.

2017 bmw x1 front angle, headlights and grille

The BMW X1 uses a front-wheel drive architecture as opposed to the rear-wheel drive one that has been in use ever since its debut in the market. The 2017 BMW X1 interior is spacious and chock full of upscale technologies. The cabin materials are nicer than before. Some of the technologies include a heads-up display, pedestrian detection, frontal collision system, and blind-spot monitoring with rear-cross traffic alert system.

Some of the alternatives in this class include the Lexus NX 200t, Mercedes-Benz GLA250, 2017 Audi Q3, and the 2017 Acura RDX.

The 2017 Acura RDX price starts from an MSRP of $35,370 and for that you get plenty of convenience, entertainment, and comfort features for the money. EPA estimates its fuel economy to stand at 20/28/34 mpg in the city/highway/combined.

The 2017 Lexus NX 200t MSRP starts from $34,945 and for that you get features like an impeccable cabin construction, smooth and quiet engine, copious high-tech gadgetry, and a generous backseat room.
