2017 Infiniti QX50 – Release Date, News and Rumors

The new 2017 Infiniti QX50 offers a decent value to its consumers thanks to several highpoints that distinguish it from the current crop of compact luxury SUVs. Some of the said strengths include a powerful V6 engine, a low base price, and a responsive handling. Although Infiniti efforts are laudable, there’s general lack of interior refinement on the QX50 relative to the available competition. Below is a comprehensive review of the Infiniti QX50 touching on its release date, price, available competition, and exterior/interior redesign changes.

2017 Infiniti QX50 Release Date & Price

2017 Infiniti QX50 release date

Pricing and release date info are yet to be made public, at least as per the time of this writing. Nevertheless, this hasn’t prevented industry experts from examining the different probabilities given the rumors floating around. That said, expect the Infiniti QX50 release date sometime in early 2017. The price for the base model should begin around the existing model’s $34,000 MSRP. Leasing will definitely be an option.

Infiniti QX50 Review

2017 Infiniti QX50 exterior, side view,alloy wheels

Just like before, Infiniti has provided the QX50 with a newly stretched wheelbase that offers it a stately ride quality whilst on the road. The backseat space has been boosted and now backseat passengers can enjoy copious legroom. It still remains an engaging small luxury crossover SUV that drives better than most of its peers. Otherwise, the Infiniti QX50 hasn’t changed much from the outgoing model, albeit the interior has been refreshed.

2017 Infiniti QX50 rear view, taillights, tailpipe and alloy wheels

Beneath the skin, the new model comes equipped with a 3.7L V6 engine rated at 325 hp and 267 lb. ft. of torque – rather powerful output figure in comparison to its competition. As can often be the case, the V6 drains its fuel economy ratings to 20 mpg for combined city/highway cruising.

2017 Infiniti QX50 side view, black color, alloy wheels

The Infiniti QX50 2017 interior has been upgraded and now features better technologies and material quality than before. One disappointment though is the lack of a redesign ever since the model debuted into the market some eight years ago. Although early to speculate, rumor has it that a mid-cycle refresh will address much of the remaining gripes that this model might still have.

It is hard at this point to recommend the 2017 Infiniti QX50 fully as the vehicle has some major downsides relative to the available competition that has advanced in leaps and bounds over the eight year period that the QX50 has been in existence. Those not locked up financially should check its rivals’ list that includes the 2017 Acura RDX, 2017 BMW X3, and the Audi Q5.

And both the headlights and taillights slightly redesigned than before. In overall, you have a car that is not only elegant looking, but its also competitive in its class. 2017 Infiniti QX70 Release Date, Review and Specs

The new 2017 Infiniti QX70 manages to stand out from the rest of its rivals in a number of areas including its sporty performance, distinctive styling, easy-to-use technology interface, and its boatload of accessories. Well, while that may be true to some extent, the QX70 lacks the versatility that some of its rivals capitalize on immensely, and considering its supposed to be one of its core functions, some buyers may be swayed to look elsewhere. Well, you are the judge at the end of the day! Read on for more details concerning its release date, price, changes on interior and exterior, engine specs, and whatnot.

2017 Infiniti QX70 front view, grille, badges and headlights

The luxury crossover SUV segment is a hotly contested one and continues to become an even hotter rod in terms of rivalry every passing day. What this means is that new releases have to have that edge that distinguishes them from the rest of the offerings. While utility and performance are some of the core functions, they are, by and large, the common denominator across the entire segment and thus automakers have to constantly come up with unique innovations.

2017 Infiniti QX70 rear view, taillights and badges

The 2017 Infiniti QX70 – our primary focus in this piece – comes with several important changes and modifications that the automaker hopes will help the scales to its advantage. From a vantage point of view, the Infiniti QX70 grows both girth and sales volumes every year, and therefore demonstrates consumer loyalty thanks to its reliability, performance, and pricing structure. The latter is perhaps one single most factor that enders many to this little known product especially in comparison to German vehicles that cost an arm and a leg.

2017 Infiniti QX70 side angle, alloy wheels

It is sporty courtesy of the low, swooping roof line that crowns the body beneath. And just like the model it is replacing, offers a premium-laden interior, sporty driving manners, and excellent fit and finish. Whereas we applaud the efforts Infinity have invested in offering the QX70 with a near-exquisite interior with luxury trappings, it still comes a distant second to German rivals.

2017 Infiniti QX70 auto show, front view, headlights and grille

As is often the case, certain concessions have to be made in order to make a vehicle competent in its class while still making its pricing within reach of many. That said, the new RX-7 falls short in terms of a bantamweight towing capacity, lack of another engine choice, mediocre passenger and cargo space, and stiff on the highway. Those shopping in this segment should consider also checking out other vehicles in its class such as the Porsche Macan, 2017 BMW X3, and the Mercedes-Benz GLE Coupe. The Acura MDX and the Volvo XC90 are also other alternatives.

2017 Infiniti QX70 Release Date & Price

Its release date has already been announced, and Infinity says should be expected sometime in the spring of 2017. Pricing, on the other hand, has been left open for speculation, at least as per the time of this writing. Industry pundits put its most probable pricing formula at around $45,850 MSRP starting point.

The exterior hasn’t received much changes, at least judging from the spy pictures available to us. The grille, headlights, bumper, and the taillights have however been redesigned. Eighteen-inch wheels seat beneath the body. The headlights are bi-xenon just like in the previous model. Other changes include a sunroof, LED foglights and running lights, aluminum roof rails, front and rear parking sensors, and optional 20-inch wheels.

Some of the standard accessories available include a dual-zone automatic climate control, a rearview camera, a CD player, a USB audio interface, an eleven-speaker Bose audio system, a seven-inch display screen, and a Bluetooth connectivity.

New 2017 Infiniti QX60 Release Date, Specs & Info

2017 Infiniti QX60 review – If you’re looking for a luxury crossover SUV that won’t break the bank, the 2017 Infiniti QX60 is perhaps the only great choice you’d get around. Some of the highlights that define it include ample passenger room, whisper-quiet ride, classy interior design, and stylish exterior design. Read on for more information regarding its release date, price, dimensions, interior/exterior redesign changes, and engine specs.

2017 Infiniti QX60 Release Date & Price

Rumors allege the new model will probably be headed for dealerships sometime in the middle of 2017, when its release date is rumored to occur. Pricing is under wraps for now, however, automotive experts say the new model will most likely go for sale for an MSRP starting from around $42,600.

Infiniti QX60 Review

Previously known as the JX, the Infiniti QX60 has virtually remained unchanged ever since it got the new QX60 nameplate. This shouldn’t however be taken to mean that it hasn’t got some mild refreshments on several of its facets that have managed to keep it afloat in its class. While we are of the opinion that it has improved in leaps and bounds, there’re certain drawbacks that have perennially hindered it from becoming a top dog within the three-row luxury crossover SUV segment.

2017 Infiniti QX60 front angle, grille and headlights

It is an all-rounded vehicle that won’t break the bank by luxury standards. Some welcome changes include LED lighting (running lights, foglights, and taillights), a redesigned grille, and minor exterior cues. Unlike its predecessor, the new model comes with abundant sound deafening materials that drastically reduce the amount of noise entering the cabin. The result of this is a serene ride quality devoid of the bustling environs. Also, the steering and suspension have seen some improvements as well.

2017 Infiniti QX60 rear view, taillights and tailpipe

But even with such seemingly refreshed facets, the Infiniti QX60 2017 will arguably still face an uphill task in trying to climb to the top of the trim ladder. Our top recommendation in the segment would undoubtedly be the 2017 Acura MDX. Other vehicles you can perhaps take for a spin around the block include the Volvo XC90, and the BMW X5.

2017 Infiniti QX60 exterior, grille

There’s no doubt that Infiniti has come from a long way. The ‘long way’ has however not been easy and the automaker has had to make certain concessions in order to appeal to its buyer’s pool. While it has strived to offer premium features and equipment, the overall refinement is a serious concern especially considering the impressive spec sheet that its rivals offer. For 2017, Infiniti has uped up its game in order to match the cabin trim levels of its German and American rivals.

2017 Infiniti QX60 exterior, trunk

The interior, as shall be seen later on in this review, comes with impressive equipment. The overall ambience ia better than before and this adds to its elegant appeal. The options’ list also bundles an extensive amount of features in form of bundles that buyers will have to spend an extra to get. Although the availability of the options is welcome, it negates the price advantage that compelled buyers to choose it over the rest of its rivals. In overall though, it all comes down to your priorities.

2017 Infiniti Q60 Release Date & Price

2017 Infiniti Q60 release date

With the MSRP pricing slotting between $40 and $50k, the new model finds itself in a collision course with well-rounded rivals such as the 2017 BMW 4 Series, and the 2017 Audi A5. The Audi A5 comes with cutting-edge personal technology, while the BMW 4 Series boasts of near-perfect balance and aggressive looks. I’d say there’s not a bad one in the bunch.

When it comes to the Infiniti Q60 release date, rumors allege it should be expected sometime in mid-2017.

As you can see from the images, the new model gets an elegant, powerful, and daring new design. Although the design has changed a bit from that of the existing model, signature Infiniti design cues are quite evident. The stylish cues communicate the performance potential of the Q60 coupe. Unlike most production models that veer off from the concept’s design, that of the Q60 remains faithfully intact. Signature design cues include unique deep-body stamping, double arch grille, LED headlights, and striking exterior silhouette.

The dimensions have increased, and so has the interior legroom. The new model also gets better driving dynamics thanks in part to the lower center of gravity, and greater stability and in-control driving potential. In fact, Q60’s drag coefficient is only 0.28 therefore implying the coupe has high levels of aerodynamic efficiency.

The interior comes with a driver-centric approach featuring bold, high-end accents, and modern-looking materials.
